Adult Cycling Refreshers

Living in the South West means having some of England's most beautiful countryside right on your doorstep. Whether you are looking to swap the car for the school run, try a more active commute, or simply enjoy cheaper days out with the family, our free cycling programmes are here to help you feel confident on local roads.
Delivered by Gloucestershire County Council's ThinkTravel team and funded by National Highways, these sessions are designed specifically for adults in our region who want to build skills, gain confidence, and start enjoying the benefits of cycling.
Free Confidence-Building Adult Cycling Refreshers
If you have not been on a bike in years, or you never learned properly, these sessions are for you. Taking place in safe, traffic-free areas, our qualified instructors will help you improve your balance, positioning, and control.
Bikes and helmets are provided free of charge, though you are very welcome to bring your own. You will also learn more about your bike and how to ride safely alongside others.
