International Walk to School Month: Join the Autumn Street Safari in Gloucestershire!
October is International Walk to School Month, and students across Gloucestershire are invited to join the fun by walking, wheeling, cycling, or scooting to school! 🌍🚶♂️🍂
This year, we're going on an Autumn Street Safari! Take a few minutes on your way to school to explore the seasonal wonders and participate in exciting activities. Will you juggle pinecones, dance around a mushroom, or create your own spooky story? There’s plenty to discover!
Who Can Take Part?
Anyone in Gloucestershire! While we’re encouraging students to walk, cycle, scoot, or wheel to school as much as possible in October, those who can’t walk to school can still enjoy the fun by trying the activities in their playground. Families can even join in over the weekend!
How to Participate:
- Download the Autumn Street Safari Checklist: Grab your checklist and start ticking off the activities on your way to school.
- Spot Autumn Creatures and Collect Fun Items: Whether you spot squirrels, fallen leaves, or mushrooms, there’s plenty of autumn magic to enjoy.
- Share Your Safari: Post your photos and videos on social media using the hashtags #AutumnStreetSafari and #InternationalWalktoSchoolMonth. Don’t forget to tell us what you’ve discovered on your safari!
