This year, why not explore our new Cycle Spine infrastructure, connecting Gloucester to Cheltenham and beyond? The route offers safe, scenic cycling for all abilities, ideal for leisure rides, commuting, or trying cycling for the first time. With the A435 Cycleway now open, there's never been a better time to get on your bike in Gloucestershire.Two Ways to Get Involved:
1. Host a Bike Week Brunch: Bring people together in a simple, sociable way. Whether it's coffee and cake with friends, a workplace breakfast, or a school bake sale, your brunch can be anything you want. After your brunch, why not take a ride along the Cycle Spine together?
2. Join The Big Bike Revival: Free, friendly local sessions to help adults build confidence, learn new skills, or get back into cycling. Perfect if you're looking to try the Cycle Spine but need a confidence boost first.
How to Take Part:
- Register to host a Bike Week Brunch and receive a free fundraising pack with ideas and resources
- Simply go for a cycle – swap a short car journey for a bike ride
- Explore Gloucestershire's Cycle Spine and discover how easy active travel can be
