Need help planning your journey?

The Traveline service helps you plan and organise your trips on public transport. You can:

  • Plan your journey on public transport by postcode, stop and area.
  • Look up timetables
  • Access and print timetables
  • Find your nearest stop and gives you information on routes and timetables.

You can access Traveline by phone and online:

    The Traveline call centre is available from 07:00 to 22:00 daily (except Christmas and New Year Holiday) with trained agents who will help you plan your journey by public transport.
    Calls from BT landlines are charged at 10p per minute plus network charges; mobile and other operator's charges may be different.

Traveline on your mobile

NextBuses – – is a mobile internet service that finds bus times on your mobile phone. iPhone, Android and Windows Phone apps are also available.

Using NextBuses you can select a bus stop wherever you are in Gloucestershire.

Scheduled bus times are shown if live times are not available. Normal data charges from your mobile phone operator apply. Speed and access to the service is subject to your network connection.

This application is available to download on iphones and androids and has the following facilities:

  • Plan your journey and change your plans whilst on route
  • View the next departure times from your stop
  • Monitor your journey
  • Keep a list of your favourite journeys

Traveline – text updates

By text – Simply type the stop code as a text message - and send it to 84268. The bus stop code may be displayed on the bus stop flag or in the timetable case.

Your message will be charged at your standard text message rate. In some areas the reply will be free of charge. In others, it cost up to 25p.

Remember the service is specific to an individual stop for travel in one direction. The code for the stop in the other direction will be different.
