National Cycling Academy National training body, aiming to provide cycle training to all.

Business Cycle A voluntary DfT initiative, challenging businesses to become cycle friendly employers by making it easy for staff to cycle to and from work.

CTC Find a National Standards qualified cycle instructor in your area. Includes 'Mountain Bike Training' and 'Commuter Tutor'.

British Cycling British Cycling is the national governing body for cycling. British Cycling works across all levels and six disciplines of the sport (BMX, Mountain Bike, Cyclo-Cross, Road, Track and Cycle Speedway).

Disabled cycling

Being disabled should not be a barrier to enjoying cycling and there are a number of options available to suit many types of disability.

Charlottes Tandems Gloucestershire based charity who lend tandems to children and adults with disabilities or special needs for free.

The Handcycling Association of the UK A charity that promotes handcycling as a sport and as a recreational activity.

Crank It Up Crank it Up are a voluntary project who tries to provide cycling for all people of all abilities.

Remap Charity helping to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities, by adapting or building special equipment on a tailor made basis.

Tandem Club The Tandem Club has a Disabilities Liaison Officer who may be able to help with queries related to disabled people and to visually impaired cyclists.

Get Cycling Provides cycles and cycling support to special schools, community groups and individuals, acting as advisors and suppliers of new and refurbished cycles to the Family Fund Charity.
